(not to be confused with
Smith Field in Brighton)
SPECIAL NOTE: First
timers to Connell fields should allow for an extra 15 minutes. The area where
the fields are located is confusing because of many twists and turns. Please
allow yourself time to recover from "getting lost."
Use the following address for approximate location of Connell fields:

- Connell field #1 backs up to field #2

- Address is for the Kennedy School, which is at the end of Enneking Parkway
- The parking lot is on the corner of Smithfield Road and Enneking
Parkway. The fields are on the right before you get to the school when coming from
Dedham or West Roxbury

From Route 128:
- Exit Route 135 (exit 17) towards Needham.
- Take Route 135 East into Dedham Center.
- Stay STRAIGHT (even though 135 will disappear) for about 2.5 miles.
- You will enter Dedham center, passing the court and police station.
- You will go through a two sets of lights. After the last one, you will
have to bear left or right.
- Bear LEFT.
- You will pass under Route 1, and come to a light. Make a RIGHT on High
Street.
- Stay on High St. for about 2 miles. The street will change names, then you
will go past a CVS.
- Eventually, you will enter the park, and come to a 4-way stop sign
intersection.
- Go straight for 1/2 mile. Connell Field #1 is on the right.
From Mass Ave.
- Go south on Columbus Ave. You will pass Roxbury Community College on the
left, and Ruggles Station. Keep going.
- Eventually, you will get to a major light at Eagleston Square. Make a
RIGHT on to Washington Street.
- Stay on Washington for about 2 miles. You will pass under a huge overpass.
Right after that will be a big clock tower and a T station - FOREST HILLS
STATION. (At this point, Washington has changed into Hyde Park Ave.)
- Take a RIGHT at the first light after the station.
- Make the first LEFT after that. You are now on Washington Street again.
- Stay on Washington through Roslindale Square.
- Eventually, you will go uphill until you reach a light with a Burger King
on the left. Make a LEFT here onto Ennenken Parkway/Turtle Pond Parkway.
- Go for about 1.5 miles. At the FIRST four-way intersection, make a LEFT.
- Connell Field is 1/2 up on the right.

Connell field #2 is at the end Cleveland St off of River St
Connell 2 is diagonally across from Connell 1.
When leaving Connell 1:
- Make a left out of the parking lot.
- Take the first LEFT. (About 50 yards after leaving the lot.)
- Go down past the soccer field, make another LEFT.
- Make your next left after that. Houses will be on the right, eventually
Connell 2 is on the left.

- Go out LEFT of parking lot (Enneking Parkway)
- Make a RIGHT at the 4-way intersection (Turtle Pond Parkway)
- Just before reaching the light, make a LEFT. This is LaGrange St.
- Go straight through the light.
- Billings Field is about 0.8 mile down on the right. Just after the park is
West Roxbury Parkway (if you go too far)
From Washington Street (from Roslindale Square)
- Drive down Washington. When you get to the Burger King that is at the
corner of Enneking Parkway/Turtle Pond Parkway-STAY STRAIGHT.
- The light after the Burger King is Lagrange Street. Make a RIGHT.
- Billings Field is 0.8 mi. down on the right. Just after the park is West
Roxbury Parkway.
From Washington Street (coming from Route 1/1A - Dedham)
- Go north on Washington Street
- Make a LEFT on to Lagrange.
- Billings is 0.8 mi down on the RIGHT, just before West Roxbury Parkway.
