FORFEIT & RAINOUT PROCEDURES

FORFEITS

IF FOR ANY REASON A TEAM HAS TO FORFEIT THEIR GAME YOU MUST CALL DAN BY 3:00 PM THE DAY OF YOUR GAME.  DO NOT USE EMAIL.  THE NOTIFICATION MUST COME IN THE FORM OF A PHONE CALL.

 

FOR THE SUNDAY LEAGUE (OR A WEEK NIGHT TEAM PLAYING ON A SUNDAY) YOU MUST CALL DAN BY 3:00 PM THE FRIDAY, BEFORE YOUR GAME.

ANY TEAM FAILING TO ADHERE TO THE FORFEIT POLICY WILL BE KICKED OUT OF THE LEAGUE.  THIS POLICY IS A COMMON COURTESY TO YOUR OPPONENTS AND UMPIRES AND IS MANDATORY.

RAINOUTS

Rain out procedure for midweek games:
That evenings games will ALL be called by 4:30PM and an email will be sent to the league list. PLEASE HAVE AT LEAST TWO people from your team sign up to get these emails so that your team can be notified in a timely fashion.

(Dan would like you to please walk them through signing up for the list on the website)

Rain out procedure for Sunday:
This will happen in 3 blocks:

Dan will call the 9-9:30AM, 10:30AM and 12:00PM games by 8:30AM.
Dan will call the 1:30PM, 3:00PM, and 4:30PM games by 12:30PM.
Dan will call the 6:00PM, 7:30PM, and 9:00PM games by 5:00PM.
